Cenote Tajma Ha
The Cenote Tajma Ha has a lot to offer, for both, cavern and cave divers. It is located south of Puerto Aventuras and twenty five minutes ride from Playa del Carmen.
It is always recommended to dive with a certified guide who holds 'Full Cave' certification and equipement.
As a casvern diver your dive will start either by the laser beam lights effects or directly through the sections called 'Sugar Bowl'. In the first part, a lot of formations are visible either on the cavern floor, such as the 'Leaning Tower of Pisa' or hanging since the dawn of time along the walls. In the 'Sugar Bowl' section you will take the time to find seashell and coral fosils. As you may know, the Yucatan peninsula was once a reef!!
If you are cave diving, two sections are available, upstream and downstream.
