Essential Scuba Diving Skills
THE Yucatan Peninsula is rich in culture, flora and fauna. With its luxurious tropical forests and underground rivers, called cenotes and it's highly decorated reef, it offers visitors a unique insight to the ancient and mysterious Mayan civilisation.
Diver training is essential for a safe and sound adventure. Due to it's fragile environement the underwater realm diserves all our attention and that is where the Essential Diver training comes into place.
For decades divers have been taught to scuba dive in a way that impact the reef and make their experience not so fun.
Here at Scuba Video Services, due to our experience in technical and cave diving we have develloped an awareness of our environment that many envy!
You will be trained following the highly recognise DIR principles included in an IANTD curriculum.
Your first dives could take place on the world's second largest reef or in the very mystical cenotes or underground rivers! Due to strict conservation polices the reef, in Playa del Carmen, is teeming with life. It is not unusual to find turtles, large green moray eels, barracudas and sting rays joining you on your dive and wanting to be part of the filming action!
